Murder Rock Golf and Country Club
Tee off surrounded by Ozarks history. The legend of Murder Rock dates back to the Civil War when Alfred Bolin and his rough gang of outlaws used the area as a hideout to ambush weary travelers. Today, the property is located on the edge of Branson Creek with extraordinary views from it’s elevated tee boxes. John Daley’s Murder Rock at Branson Creek is a truly professional course with challenging holes that make for great competition. Nightly rentals and real estate ownership opportunities make this a must visit place while in the Branson, Missouri, area.

Not a bad course, but nothing compares to its sister course, Branson Creek. The front nine was a little short and felt cramped, but the back nine was scenic and challenging. And boy can the wind blow all the way up on the top of the hill. Hold on to your hat!
You said it, that wind can be a serious challenge! It makes for good practice for sure! Also, I really enjoy the history of the name, very interesting.
