I really enjoyed Celebrate America at Mansion America in May 2006. The same cast performs The Promise at the 3pm show. The first half of the production was a little slow and I thought they could do without some of the boring songs. I wasn't particularly interested in the little girl and her grandfather plot line, although the little girl did an outstanding job, just the writers of this were boring and a little too outdated. That part was more like a bad junior high school production, but the dancing was absolutely the best in Branson.... bar none. Totally first class..., Broadway level. The second half was fast paced, energetic, and just outstanding. If a recruiter from New York comes thru Branson, they will definitely steal away some of these young people. Top notch! |

A fun tribute to America with song, dance, costumes from the era and an amazing video screen behind all the action. I've never seen anything like it in Branson. We saw Joseph to here and really enjoyed it. Good shows in Mansion America! |
