Darren Romeo, protégé of Magicians of the Century Siegfried & Roy, combines an extraordinary singing voice with fascinating illusions for a one-of-a-kind magical performance. His Broadway-inspired magic and musical production features classic and contemporary music, from Andrew Lloyd Webber to Bobby Darin, Billy Joel and original compositions by Romeo. The show is punctuated by dramatic illusions, including Romeo's original magic/music combination tribute to his namesake, Bobby Darin, and Blackstone's famous Floating Light Bulb illusion.

As our family are big into magic, we thought that this endorsed Segfried and Roy production would be similar to what we saw years ago in Vegas. No so, yet a nice show for the whole family. Darren really appeals to the audience, especially the ladies. He was having vocal problems the night we attended, and he mentioned how the audience attendance was lower than normal. Anyway, we recommend this show if you've never seen a magic production show before. There are two other magic type shows in Branson that we saw as well this week that were fantastic. Branson is a great place to visit if you are into magic like we are.

[b] Ive seen Darren 2 times. He is a very nice man. Good looking too. I've met him twice. He also gives good hugs and kisses on the head. [haha.] but anyways. his magic is AMAZING. so is his voice. we bought his cd and we cant stop listening to it. i would pick his show over anyones. its bringing in more and more people every night. he will make it big, even more than he already is. if someone suggest going to kerby van burch, i disagree. the man has no personality. hes rude and so forth. [ive met him. trust me.] but , no offence to the people who do like the man. i would pick darren over him ANY day.
so i would DEFINATELY suggest going to his show.

I saw Darren perform in May 2006. He is incredibly handsome in person and has great stage presence. The show was fast paced, entertaining and energetic. The light bulb illusion was one of the most amazing things I've ever seen. Some of the illusions were a bit outdated, but still enjoyable to watch. His supporting cast did a great job as well. Their costumes were risque for Branson standards, not at all vulgar, but I of course loved seeing something other than the usual Branson farm girl - ruffled dresses. I did feel as though the stage props were a bit lacking in quality and volume - I had expected a bit more flash, especially attaching the names Segfreid and Roy as producers. I feel that his "grand finale" illusion and song, Phantom of the Opera, was quite boring and outdated and not a good way to end the show. Also, my main issue was his off key vocal high notes. Ouch! I was shocked . It kept happening over and over, the off key (flat) notes. But his magic abilities, star quality, and sheer absolute gorgeous face and body, won me over. I will return!

We saw Darren Romeo in April in Branson and enjoyed his magic and songs. The car trick was pretty neat as well as the energy that he puts into the production. Not in the same category as Siegfried and Roy, but a good show for Branson. Really enjoyed having both music and magic.

I seen Darren in his show few months ago and it was o.k. I had to plug my ears sometimes and the magic wasn't as good as kirby.

I saw Darren Romeo last week and I enjoyed his show with the exception of his voice. As he got higher it sounded like it was going to crack. At least I know he doesn't sing to track. (Wow that rhymed) Maybe his voice was tired or he was sick but the rest of the show was great.

I really like the light bulb trick he did. He actually makes a lit light bulb float over the audience. I could almost reach out a grab it. Things that boggled my mind!
