From the first downbeat, the audience will fall in love with the tight harmonies and dynamic performance of Grand Country’s very own quartet, New South. This hot new group comprised of Branson favorites, Jimmy Ponder on tenor and Mark McCauley on bass, combined with newcomers Jeff Allen singing lead, and Dee Allen (son of Oak Ridge Boys lead, Duane Allen), on baritone, sing today’s contry hits as well as timeless quartet classics sure to keep hands clapping and toes tapping.

me and my wife have been coming to branson for several years. of our favorite shows, grand jubilee has always been one of them. since the recent changes in the pierce arrow show, i have to admit given the choice....we choose you guys. I have noticed that alot of the shows around here seem to be revolving doors so to speak as far as entertainment goes. one individual that me and my entire family absolutely loved to watch work the stage was Michael Chambliss formely of Pierce Arrow and SDCs the Cumberland Boys? Every year we sit and wait for the curtain to open in hopes that he will be back onstage with one of bransons finest...in my opinion..NewSouth!!!! Every year we hear rumors that he is returning to Branson with you guys.... is this true????? i cant imagine the sound you guys would have, in our opnion....he added so much to PA and Cumberland. you guys have not much room for improvement, but that would be just incredible. i hear michael is close to mike patrick, trey wilson and some of the others so let him know that there is still alot of fans who would love to hear that tenor voice again. by the way did i tell you that grand jubilee is by far the best show in town!!!!!!!!!!!!

The performers are very personable and make you feel welcome. The talent would probably be considered "raw", but there is definitely talent there. They enjoy what they're doing, but it's clear that their lives don't revolve around performing. For example, they could laugh at a couple of miscues that occurred, but it didn't throw them off their stride. The comedian, Jim Dandy, is good but not great.

The show is a good value especially for families. There are plenty of discounts available, so you don't feel like you're spending a lot for young kids to go to a show they won't get much out of. We would definitely see this show again.
