I was in Branson a few years ago and we ate here and it was nice. Now it is run-down. The paint is chipped, the front entry is packed with cheesy tourist crap. We went for breakfast, yuck! We should have walked out when we were seated. The food was terrible, service was not so great. What a shame. The advertising makes the place look nicer, and it is in a prime location.

We tried Peppercorns for brunch...the experience is memorable, and for all the wrong reason! To say the least...the food ummm...didn't stay with us long...if you get the idea! I have never had "chewy pancakes" or "100% pure fat bacon" before. I could not even tell what the meat substances were supposed to be on the lunch side of the buffet. My wife and daughter set on a booth bench that had cuts all the way up it (and it kept pinching her) while my son and I played a game counting the number of pieces of missing wallpaper! It was worn, dirty, and the waitress reminded me of someone you would find in a bar outside a truck stop. Hardly family atmosphere! The building was so cute outside too....oh well...like they say, "you can't judge a book by it's cover!"

Took the family for the evening "country buffet". Overpriced, not a great selection, and indifferent service. Will not return.

We travel to Branson 3-4 times per year and have for the past 6 years. My husband and I finally decided to try Peppercorns as it was right next to Dutch Kountry Inn, the hotel we normally stay at. We walked over for the ever so famous $3.99 Breakfast Buffet. I must say, it was a HUGE disappointment. We never recieved refills on our water, which maybe because it didn't cost us anything, they didn't feel the need to refill it. When going to the buffet, the pancakes were all stuck together and as if that wasn't bad enough, they were cold. The biscuits were like bricks and even though pouring gravy atop them, they were still unedible. After trying the hashbrowns, which we figured they couldn't possibly mess up those, we were wrong again. They were tasteless and didn't seem like they were completely cooked. My husband and I are not picky people by any means, and it doesn't take much to satisfy us, but I must say we will not be returning again to try this place, at least not the breakfast buffet.

I agree about the 3.99 being deceiving. For a family of 4 after paying for juice, milk, and coffee it ended up costing us over $30.00. For Breakfast!!!!! I don't think so!!

THE FOOD WAS VERY VERY GOOD...OH MY GOD THE HAM ON THE BREAKFAST BUFFET WAS GREAT....THE STAFF WAS NOT AS FRIENDLY AS I WOULD HAVE LIKED... AND THE 3.99 ADVERTISEMENT IS KIND OF DECEIVING BECAUSE BY THE TIME YOU PAY 3.99 FOR BUFFET, 1.99 FOR THE JUICE, AND 1.99 FOR THE CUP OF COFFEE, YOU'VE PAID 8 BUCKS FOR BREAKFAST!! SO LOSE THE 3.99 ADVERTISEMENT AND JUST SAY 8 DOLLARS ALL YOU CAN EAT BUFFET, DRINK AND ALL!!!
