Fall Creek Steak & Catfish House

Overall Rating3.333.333.333.333.33

Fall Creek Steak & Catfish House is Branson, Missouri’s original home of the “Tossed Roll.” Since 1992, they have been pleasing locals and visitors alike with great steaks, catfish, burgers, and all the sides. Sitting right next to Fall Creek, their brand new building, in the same location at the very end of Fall Creek Road is stunning. You just might see Rudy, the resident guitar playing, singing roll tosser serenading someone as they enjoy a delicious meal of steak or seafood. Outdoor seating is available. Located off the 76-strip on Hwy 165 in Branson, Missouri.

The food was good but the atmosphere did not appeal to me. Maybe it was how it was set up but the large room and picnic table style seating was strange…I guess you go to a restaurant for food though and that was pretty tasty.

Couldn’t agree more Bart. Don’t get me wrong, the food was great, but I did feel the building and layout was strange.

Home of the tossed rolls. The Fall Creek steak and catfish house is awesome. Becasue its one of those few places where you can play with your food before u eat it. Its about time someone gets it. I get too full on rolls to enjoy my food there anyway. I think when i retire i am going to go get a job there tossing rolls out to guests.

Last June we ate there I had the chicken fried steak. You really cant mess up Chicken fried steak. My wife had a salad she said was okay. Every time i end up there its completely packed. Is it just a local favorite because i dont see how visitors find it with it being on the outskirts of town.

I compared this restaurant to the Bass Pro restaurant in springfield. Big mistake although the WHite River fish house is good but Hemingways at the headquarters is awesome. I had the catfish fried and i was very pleased but dont expect it to be better than Hemingways.

We loved this place, my son and husband fell in love with the catfish. The rolls being thrown in the air was right up their alley. The staff was so friendly and the atmosphere was fun and inviting. I had the steak, it was huge and cooked to perfection!! When we visit Branson again, we will for sure eat here!!
