I think its fun if you enjoy walking up and down hills, not good for older people. Honestly I would rather see shows, and for 53 dollars you can see two shows. But kids will like this!!

We always have to go here when we come for vacation. The price is getting up there so we normally take a free tour of a timeshare & get our tickets that way. Figure a $45.00 or so ticket is worth 2-3 hours of my time. Last time we spent 2 full days in the park & never got bored. It is a must when we come to Branson.

Silver Dollar City is my absolute favorite attraction to visit in Branson. I am a bit biased because I have been going to SDC since I was 2 months old and I'm now an adult taking my own kids. SDC has a atmosphere that you just can't find anywhere else. The beautiful folage and abundant flowers make it seem more like you are in a magical forest than a theme park. Everyone who works there is always so friendly and helpful. They may not have as many rides as a traditional amusement park like Celebration City, but the ones they have are a lot of fun and there's tons to keep the kids busy! My personal favorite is the "Fire in the hole!" It's a classic roller coaster with a theme that even as a kid brought my imagination to life. The other coasters there are fabulous if you are a coaster fan like I am! The children rides and attractions are as much for the adults as they are the kids. SDC has over the years gotten a little more expensive every year to buy tickets or passes to, but I still think that they are the biggest, best bang for your buck in Branson! If it's your first trip to SDC avoid the weekend of Thanksgiving )it's really crowded) and it's really crowded during the kids fest as well. I plan on buying season passes again next year.

We only get to SDC about every 2 years and always find it fascinating, especially decorated for Christmas. We got lucky this year and through ibranson.com we found 2 for 1 tickets. One day it was 68 degrees, the next 38! We appreciate an atmosphere where Christmas is still Christmas as we've always remembered it and Christ is still the reason.
