My husband and I decided to try tony's because it sounded good, and It was our tenth anniversary...There were only 6 tables with patrons at the time that we were there, so we thought good we can get waited on , well we were wrong. After we were seated we sat there for like ten minutes and the hostess finally came over and yanked my napkin out of my water glass and handed it to me rather rudely, poured water and stomped off.. After like another ten minutes the waiter came over and took our drink order and ran off before we could order,, After several minutes more he came over and brought bread, and our drinks. Then it took a longer time to get our food. Now most really nice italian resturaunts that I've been too, serve a salad or soup with the meal and have an olive oil mixed with roasted garlic.. But here there was no salad with the meal, and the olive oil is mixed with balsmic vinager and a shredded cheese that quickley turned dark with the vinager. It was an aweful combination... The whole time that we were there the waiters seemed lost, like they really didn't care if they helped you or not and the older woman who is the hostess stomped around like she really didn't want to be there. alot of the people sat around looking like they needed something to eat while they waited. The food i ordered was wrong, it had the wrong kind of pasta, and it was floating in grease. my husbands was plain tasteing. As soon as i left, i got an aweful stomache ache. The decor is cheesey like an old time vegas casino. all in all, poor. |
